Mountain View Christian School

March 5, 2010

Dear Mountain View Parents:

No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. -Ps. 84:11

In the midst of sorrow and trouble, this life has many blessings and enjoyments that have come from the hand of God.

Think of the blessings we so easily take for granted: Life itself; preservation from danger; every bit of health we enjoy; every hour of liberty; the ability to see, to hear, to speak, to think, and to imagine--all this comes from God.  Even our capacity to love is a gift from God.  Most all, God has given us the gift of Christ.

What should our response be? We can put it in one word: gratitude.  But how do we show our gratitude? By giving back to Him a part of what He has given us.

What have you done lately to show your gratitude to God for all that He has done, and is doing for you?

Excerpt from Hope for Each Day by Billy Graham
